Gutted I could not get the time off work to pay my respects in person. Barry was a true Gentleman and always helpful and considerate when you needed advice. I had the pleasure of knowing Barry through football as a player, referee and referee' secretary and he was a good friend to Brewmaster High Halden FC. I always knew Barry through cricket, playing against him many times for Bilsington, when I played for both High Halden and Smallhythe CC. He will be greatly missed. RIP my friend.
